Man these RNC people are something else. There were so many ridiculous things about tonight it is hard to know where to start. The "Drill baby drill" chant was probably the highlight.
Nice to hear Rudy get a 9/11 plug in. I think he taught McCain how to pull off working POW experience into every conversation.
Creepy to hear about McCain and Palin laying pipeline in January.

i see the dvr came through. yeah, rudy is still pluggin' away. the nyc backdrop was a nice touch as well. and it was pretty too, but not so that we shouldn't drill through the middle of times square if necessary.
I got completely creeped out when they started chanting that - it was like, OMG, you've all lost your mind!
I was heading home from the coffee shop and flipped on NPR to hear part of Rudy's speech. I was totally creeped out by not only the crowd chanting "Drill Baby Drill!" but also the way Rudy was laughing about it.
I'm wondering if it was creepier to watch or creepier to have your mind imagine what the scene looked like.
I thought Palin delivered her speech well. The question on my mind now is How hard can the Democrats (esp. Biden in the debate) hit her? How far can they go before people start crying sexist?
Well, they are already crying sexist, so not too far. I thought her speech was delivered well, but I am not sure non-partisan voters will like the biting remarks without much substance to back them up.
