Dominos

Is it possible that everything that has been going on with McCain the last couple of days is simply a ploy to keep Palin out of the spotlight as much as possible. Lindsey Graham floated the idea yesterday that the vice-presidential debate might need to be moved, and McCain ditched Letterman for Katie Couric, which conveniently moved Couric's Palin interview down in the newscast.

I'm not saying they are playing everything around a protection of Palin, but I am saying maybe they are. Could you blame them when this keeps happening:

I'm starting to fall in love with Sarah Palin, though probably not for the reasons the McCain campaign wants me to. Did you see her interview with Katie Couric? There was a great exchange when Couric gave Palin a chance to explain why Alaks'a proximity ro Russia enhances her foreign policy credentials.

"Well it certainly does because our...our next door neighbors are foreign countries there in the state that I am the executive of."

Have you ever been involved in any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

"We have trade missions back and forth...we...we do. It's very important when...when you consider even national security issues when Putin rears his head and, uh, comes into the airspace of the United States of America, where do they go? It's Alaska. It's right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to, um, to our state."

Executive? More like exec-CUTE-tive! *Sigh*

Okay, McCain supporters, tell me again that Barack Obama is an empty suit who is only good on prompter, while McCain and Palin have real substance.
