You Don't Say

Apparently, Chiefs' coach Herm Edwards "likes what he sees of defensive linemen at rookie minicamp." You're kidding. In May?

Can anyone produce and example of "team X disappointed in draft picks leading into camp" story? I didn't think so.

Not to be snarky but Robert Meacham from UT came into the Saint's camp overweight and a lot slower than normal. The team was definitely disappointed.

Did the team come right out and say they were disappointed? If so, the Saints just went up a notch in my book.

WHAAAAAT?????

You didn't read the slew of "grades" given to the draft. Every idiot "expert" - ranging from the Star to local blogs weighed in on the Chiefs draft & how they did.

Which is totally & completely ludicrous because we have no idea how these guys are going to turn out. NONE.

And your beef with Herman is that he is enthusiastic about his draft picks? You want him to go out & say he fucked up? He doesn't even know yet - we won't know jackshit about these guys until at the earliest - training camp and not really until mid or late season.

What kind of coach would ever say he hates his draft picks?

Your beef is unfounded.

Funny observation, Jim, and you got linked on Tony's KC.

I wonder if some anonymous posters remain anonymous because they are too dumb to figure out how to put their names in . . .
