Ha! Closest I eve came to "running" for my newspaper was in the pre-texting day and a court verdict was being called. Ran to the pay phone to call it in.
Someone should inform SCOTUS that allowing the telegraph (newfangled though it be) to be run from their building would in no way endanger the Republic.

There are so few real "Stop the presses!!!!!" moments in journalism. You know they were just geeked up beyond belief.
