There is an article on the NY Times website about places in the UK with funny names. Not just funny names, but sophomorically funny names.
These include Crotch Crescent, Oxford; Titty Ho, Northamptonshire; Wetwang, East Yorkshire; Slutshole Lane, Norfolk; and Thong, Kent. And, in a country that delights in lavatory humor, particularly if the word “bottom” is involved, there is Pratts Bottom, in Kent, doubly cursed because “prat” is slang for buffoon.The funniest towns I have ever been to are Intercourse, Pennsylvania and Ballingarry in Ireland. Anyone else have any?

I've driven by a town called Knob Lick, Missouri. All of the townsfolk have drymouths and cat-tongues.
In the Missouri bootheel there is a town called Cooter.
