If only the poor could just realize that they aren't really a part of America:

The conservatives seem to be pushing for a return to an aristocracy. If we could just do away with this pesky equal rights thing, we'd be all set - those fortunate enough to be born into wealth and privilege could make all the rules to ensure they stay that way and the rest of us can just become serfs. What's the problem with that?
